The FL-S series is Infineon's mainstream offering, so PCNs and allocation shifts are visible through the franchised channel.
133 MHz Quad-SPI — read bandwidth for execute-in-place
The 133 MHz clock rate on the Quad I/O interface delivers a theoretical read throughput of 532 Mbps (four data lines at 133 MHz). That is enough to support execute-in-place (XIP) from the Flash for many MCU and SoC designs, reducing the need for a separate RAM shadow. The 128 Mbit capacity (16 MB) holds a full firmware image plus configuration tables and a small file system. For designs that need more temperature headroom, the sibling S25FL128SAGMFV001 extends the operating range to 105°C.
Supply rail and temperature compatibility
If your application sees sustained junction temperatures above 85°C, the 105°C-rated variant (S25FL128SAGMFV001) is the better fit.
