128 Mbit NOR Flash with Quad-SPI — what the clock speed means for your bus
The S25FL128SAGBHV400: The 8 ns access time refers to the initial random-read latency; once the page buffer is loaded, the Quad-SPI burst fills at the full 133 MHz rate. For designs that poll a NOR Flash for firmware storage and over-the-air staging, this part keeps the read margin clean without needing a faster, more expensive parallel NOR.
Package and footprint — 24-BGA (8x6 mm)
Surface-mount only; the BGA footprint is not hand-solderable without a hot-air station and stencil. For rework, preheat from the bottom and a top-side hot-air nozzle matched to the 8x6 mm body will minimise adjacent-component disturbance.
