2Mbit FRAM with 40 MHz SPI — the write-endurance advantage
The FM25V20-G is a 2Mbit non-volatile FRAM organized as 256K x 8, accessed through an SPI bus clocked up to 40 MHz. Unlike EEPROM or NOR flash, FRAM writes at bus speed with no page-buffer delay or erase-before-write cycle — each byte is written in a single SPI transaction, making it suited for high-frequency data logging or parameter storage where write endurance matters.
