2 Mbit FRAM with 40 MHz SPI – what it brings to the bus
The FM25V20-DGTR is a 2 Mbit Ferroelectric RAM (FRAM) from Cypress Semiconductor's F-RAM™ series, organised as 256K x 8 bits and accessed through an SPI bus running at up to 40 MHz. FRAM combines the non-volatility of EEPROM with the write speed and endurance of SRAM – no write delays, no page buffers, and no wear-leveling needed for typical data-logging or configuration-storage duty cycles.
Cypress Semiconductor (now part of Infineon) no longer manufactures this exact order code in volume. Official last-time-buy windows have closed.
Package and footprint – 8-DFN with exposed pad
The FM25V20-DGTR is supplied in an 8-WDFN Exposed Pad package (supplier device package 8-DFN 5x6 mm).
