Active FRAM with SPI bus — 64Kbit for non-volatile logging
The FM25640B-G is an Infineon F-RAM™ device offering 64Kbit of non-volatile storage accessed through an SPI interface at up to 20 MHz. Organized as 8K x 8, it provides the instant-write endurance and low power of ferroelectric technology without the page-write delays or wear limits of EEPROM.
Supply rail and temperature grade — 5V logic, industrial range
Operates from 4.5V to 5.5V, making it a direct fit for legacy 5V SPI buses or mixed-voltage systems with a level translator on the host side. The -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range covers factory-floor and outdoor equipment without derating. Housed in an 8-SOIC narrow-body package (3.90 mm width), the footprint matches standard SOIC-8 land patterns — no board spin required if replacing an EEPROM in the same package.
Compliance and packaging — ROHS3, tube delivery
ROHS3 compliant, with no substance restrictions under current EU directives. Supplied in tubes — the standard SOIC-8 tube format — suitable for hand-assembly or pick-and-place with tube feeders.
