64Kbit FRAM with I2C — what it replaces and where it fits
The Infineon FM24C64B-G is a 64Kbit non-volatile FRAM memory organized as 8K x 8 bits, accessed through an I2C serial interface at up to 1 MHz.
550 ns access — why it matters for the bus
At 1 MHz I2C, each clock cycle is 1 µs. The 550 ns access time means the FRAM can present data within half a clock period.
Housed in an 8-SOIC (3.90 mm width) surface-mount package, supplied in tube.
