What this FIFO does in a real buffer
The CY7C4255-10AXCT is a 144K synchronous FIFO organized 8K deep by 18 bits wide, clocked at 100 MHz with an 8 ns first-word access time — enough to buffer a line of 18-bit pixel data or a burst of telemetry without dropping a sample.
Housed in a 64-LQFP (supplier device package 64-TQFP 14x14 mm), the footprint is a standard fine-pitch QFP — no exotic pad geometry, just a straightforward reflow profile. Supplied on Tape & Reel, so it feeds straight into a pick-and-place machine without a manual-tray changeover.
