The Infineon CY7C1515AV18-200BZXI is a 72Mbit QDR II synchronous SRAM organized as 2M x 36, clocked at 200 MHz over a parallel interface. This part is built for high-bandwidth, low-latency data buffering in networking gear, telecom line cards, and high-end test equipment where the QDR II architecture eliminates bus-turnaround dead cycles.
At 200 MHz, the QDR II interface delivers two data words per clock cycle on separate read and write ports, effectively doubling the data rate compared to a conventional synchronous SRAM at the same clock. For a 36-bit-wide bus, that translates to a peak bandwidth of 1.6 GB/s (200 MHz × 36 bits × 2 transfers per clock ÷ 8).
