The Infineon CY7C1472V25-200AXCT is a 72Mbit synchronous SRAM from the NoBL™ family, organized as 4M x 18 bits. It clocks at 200 MHz with a 3 ns access time.
200 MHz clock and 3 ns access — timing closure headroom
At 200 MHz the clock period is 5 ns. With a 3 ns access time, the part leaves roughly 2 ns of setup/hold margin for the controller — enough for most FPGA or ASIC interfaces running at 1.8V or 2.5V I/O, but tight if the trace length exceeds a few inches. The SDR (single data rate) interface simplifies timing compared to DDR variants, but the 3 ns access is a hard limit: the controller must latch data within that window. For designs that need more margin, a slower clock variant (e.g., 133 MHz) in the same family would relax the timing budget.
Infineon (formerly Cypress) has ended production of this specific speed and temperature grade.
Package and footprint — 100-TQFP (14x20)
The 100-pin footprint is shared with other NoBL SRAM densities in the same family, so a board layout can accommodate multiple memory options with minor BOM changes.
