72 Mbit synchronous SRAM for high-throughput data buffers
The 167 MHz clock rate and 3.4 ns access time define the speed tier. For a system architect, this means the SRAM can sustain back-to-back read/write transactions without wait states when the controller meets the setup/hold windows. The NoBL™ architecture eliminates the turnaround cycle required by conventional synchronous SRAMs, so the bus stays at full throughput during mixed read-write traffic — a real advantage in packet-processing or cache-line-fill applications. The 2M x 36 organization gives a 72-bit wide data path (with parity or ECC bits) without needing two devices, saving board area and reducing load on the address bus.
For a BOM planner, this removes the urgency of qualifying a drop-in replacement for ongoing production.
100-TQFP package and commercial temperature grade
The 100-TQFP (14x20 mm) package is a surface-mount footprint. The Tape & Reel (TR) suffix indicates it ships on reels for automated assembly.
