The Infineon CY7C1425KV18-250BZXI is a 36 Mbit QDR II (Quad Data Rate) synchronous SRAM organized 4M x 9, clocked at 250 MHz. QDR II architecture delivers separate read and write data ports, eliminating bus-turnaround dead cycles that plague conventional synchronous SRAMs in back-to-back throughput applications. The 250 MHz clock means the part can sustain a read and a write every cycle — effectively 500 million data transfers per second on the combined ports.
Supply rails and temperature — industrial environment readiness
The 165-FBGA (13x15 mm) package requires careful PCB layout: the BGA pitch and the 1.8 V rail need adequate decoupling close to the balls, typically a 0.1 µF per supply pin and a bulk cap per bank.
