SyncBurst SRAM for high-throughput pipelines
The CY7C1380D-167AXIT is a Cypress (now Infineon) SyncBurst synchronous SRAM organized 512K x 36, clocked at 167 MHz with a 3.4 ns access time. It's a single-data-rate (SDR) part — one data word per clock edge — built for networking gear, DSP pipelines, and telecom line cards where the bus width matches 36-bit data paths. The 3.135 V to 3.6 V supply and -40 to 85 °C industrial range let it sit comfortably in outdoor telecom cabinets or factory-floor controllers without a derating headache.
Package and mounting
Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) for automated pick-and-place. The 100-TQFP (14x20 mm) is a hand-solderable footprint — fine-pitch but not BGA, so rework is feasible with a hot-air station and a steady hand. The 100-LQFP body matches the footprint of other Cypress SyncBurst parts in the same density range, so a board laid out for a 100-pin TQFP can accept this part without a layout change.
