What this NoBL synchronous SRAM is
The Infineon CY7C1352G-133AXC is a 4.5 Mbit synchronous SRAM from the NoBL™ (No Bus Latency) family, organized as 256K words by 18 bits. It runs at a 133 MHz clock and delivers a 4 ns access time, which means the bus can sustain back-to-back reads and writes without dead cycles — the NoBL architecture eliminates the turnaround penalty you'd see on a conventional pipelined SRAM.
133 MHz clock and 4 ns access — what they mean on the bus
At 133 MHz the clock period is about 7.5 ns, and the 4 ns access time leaves roughly 3.5 ns of setup-and-hold margin for the controller. That's tight but workable if the trace lengths are matched and the board uses proper termination. The NoBL flow-through pipeline means you can issue a read on one clock edge and get data back on the next — no idle cycle for bus-turnaround, which matters when the memory is feeding a high-speed FIFO or a packet buffer.
Housed in a 100-pin LQFP (also marked as 100-TQFP, 14x20 mm body). That's a fine-pitch (0.5 mm) quad flat pack, surface-mount only.
