Memory density and bus architecture
The CY7C1347G-166AXCT: Organised as 128K words by 36 bits, the 4.5 Mbit SRAM presents a 36-bit-wide parallel data bus — a natural fit for processor systems that need a single-chip cache or packet buffer without byte-lane muxing. The synchronous SDR interface clocks at 166 MHz, and the 3.5 ns access time means the first word is available within two clock edges after the address is latched.
Supply rails and temperature range
The commercial temperature grade (0°C to 70°C) suits indoor networking equipment, test instrumentation, and server memory buffers; for extended-temperature environments a different grade would be required.
Package and tape-and-reel format
Supplied in a 100-lead LQFP (100-TQFP, 14x20 mm body) on Tape & Reel — the reel format is the standard for automated pick-and-place assembly. The surface-mount footprint matches the industry-standard 0.5 mm pitch LQFP land pattern, so no special PCB layout accommodation is needed beyond the usual fan-out for the fine pitch.
