16 Mbit asynchronous SRAM in a 48-TSOP I footprint
The CY7C1061GE18-15ZXI is a 16 Mbit asynchronous SRAM organized as 1M x 16, with a parallel interface and a 15 ns access time. The 48-TSOP I (0.724" wide) package is the standard footprint for this density class, which means a pin-compatible alternate from another vendor will share the same PCB land pattern. The supply voltage range is 1.65 V to 2.2 V — this is a low-voltage core, not 3.3 V tolerant. If the rest of the board runs at 3.3 V, a dedicated voltage regulator or LDO is needed to generate the SRAM rail.
15 ns symmetric read/write timing
Both the access time and the write cycle time (word, page) are specified at 15 ns. Symmetric timing simplifies the memory controller's timing budget — the same setup/hold window applies for read and write operations. The industrial temperature range (-40°C to 85°C) means the part holds its timing over the full automotive-adjacent temperature band. For a fanless enclosure that sees 70°C ambient, the 85°C ceiling provides margin.
