Asynchronous SRAM — 4 Mbit, 15 ns, 3.3 V in a 0.4-inch SOJ
The 44-pin SOJ package (0.400-inch body, 10.16 mm width) mates to a surface-mount footprint with J-bend leads; it's the low-profile alternative to the TSOP-II of that era.
In a 33 MHz or slower bus system, that gives the controller enough setup margin without inserting wait states.
Infineon (the original Cypress semiconductor) has ended production — no factory orders, no last-time-buy window open. The only channel is the surplus / broker market. We can source it against an RFQ from our independent distribution network, matching date code and package requirements.
Suits office equipment, telecom rack gear, and industrial enclosures with controlled ambient. Not rated for outdoor or under-hood automotive environments without additional thermal management.
