The Infineon CY7C026A-20AXCT is a 256Kbit dual-port asynchronous SRAM organized as 16K x 16 bits. Two independent ports with separate address, data, and control buses allow simultaneous read/write access from two bus masters — no external arbitration logic needed for the memory itself. Typical deployment is in shared-memory systems for multiprocessor or DSP-to-host buffering, FIFO emulation, and video frame stores where both sides need random access without dead cycles.
