Dual-channel high-side switch for power distribution

The Infineon BTS5240LAUMA1 is a dual-channel high-side power switch from the PROFET family, designed for driving resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads in 12V and 24V automotive and industrial systems. Each output delivers up to 5.5 A continuous, with a typical on-resistance of 21 mOhm to keep conduction losses low in power distribution and relay-replacement applications. The On/Off interface with non-inverting input simplifies microcontroller connection: a logic high turns the output on.

5.5 A per channel with 21 mOhm Rds(on)

Each of the two N-channel outputs is rated for a continuous 5.5 A maximum, with the 21 mOhm typical Rds(on) setting the conduction-loss floor. The load supply range from 4.5 V to 28 V covers nominal 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V rails, making the part usable in automotive body controllers, industrial PLC output stages, and general-purpose power distribution. The 1:1 input-to-output ratio means each input controls one channel independently.

Fault protection set reduces external circuitry
