Product details

High-side switch for 5–8 A loads

The Infineon BTS436L2 is a single-channel PROFET high-side power switch rated for continuous loads up to 8.8 A with a typical on-resistance of 35 mOhm. It switches a load from 4.75 V to 41 V and requires no Vcc supply — the logic input is non-inverting and the output is an N-channel MOSFET with a 1:1 input-to-output ratio.

Fault protection and temperature grade

Built-in fault protection covers current limiting (fixed), open load detection, over-temperature shutdown, and over-voltage clamping — a full suite for driving lamps, solenoids, relays, and small motors in harsh environments.

Obsolete — sourcing through independent distribution

The BTS436L2 carries an obsolete lifecycle status.
