The Infineon BTS4141D is a single-channel high-side power switch from the miniPROFET® family, designed to drive resistive, inductive, and lamp loads in 12 V to 45 V systems. It integrates an N-channel MOSFET with a typical on-resistance of 150 mOhm and delivers up to 700 mA continuous output current. The switch is controlled by a simple On/Off interface with non-inverting input logic, and requires no external Vcc supply — the gate drive is self-supplied from the load voltage.

Fault protection and auto-restart behaviour

Built-in fault protection covers fixed current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, and over-voltage clamping — the device survives shorted loads and thermal runaway without external clamp diodes. The Auto Restart feature means the switch attempts to re-enable after a fault condition clears, which is useful for intermittent loads like solenoids or bulbs where a temporary overload is expected.

Housed in a PG-TO252-5-1 (DPak) surface-mount package with four leads plus a tab for thermal dissipation.
