1 kV 2 A ratings — what they mean for the BOM
The DBF210-13: Rated 1 kV peak reverse voltage and 2 A average rectified current — this bridge rectifier handles full-wave rectification of 240 VAC mains with margin for line transients, while delivering 2 A DC to the load continuously. Reverse leakage is specified at 5 µA when the applied reverse voltage reaches 1000 V. In a lightly loaded offline supply, this leakage contributes to the no-load power budget — at 1 kV it adds 5 mW, negligible for most designs but worth confirming in ultra-low-standby applications.
Surface-mount DBF package — board-fit note
The flat leads sit flush against the PCB pad, suiting reflow soldering in standard SMT lines. The package outline is compact enough for dense power supply layouts where a through-hole bridge would consume more board area.
