Protection parameters for signal-line duty
The D5V0HA2U3SO-7 is a 300 W peak-pulse Zener TVS array from Diodes Incorporated, packing two unidirectional channels in a SOT-23-3 package.
What the clamping and capacitance mean for your line
The 20 V maximum clamping at 15 A (8/20 µs) sets the voltage the protected IC sees during a surge — for a 5 V-tolerant input, this is well within the abs-max rating of most transceivers. The 156 pF capacitance at 1 MHz is moderate: on a 100 Mbps Ethernet pair it adds about 1.5 pF of loading per line (negligible for signal integrity), but on a high-speed USB 2.0 differential pair the extra capacitance may degrade the eye opening at the far end.
