2.8 V fixed LDO for automotive sensor rails
The AP7343DQ-28W5-7 is a single-output, positive fixed LDO regulator delivering 300 mA at 2.8 V from a maximum input of 5.25 V. AEC-Q100 Grade 1 (125°C ambient) qualifies the part for under-hood or engine-bay electronics where the junction temperature can exceed 105°C on a hot day.
Package, footprint, and rework notes
The part is supplied in a 5-lead SOT-753 package (SC-74A), also designated as SOT-25. The 0.95 mm pitch and 2.9 mm body length fit a standard small-signal LDO footprint; the exposed die attach pad on the bottom side should be soldered to a PCB copper land for thermal conduction. The Enable pin (active-high, internal pull-down) lets the system power-gate the LDO — pulling it low drops the quiescent current from 60 µA to near zero, useful for battery-backed modules that sleep between ignition cycles. Protection features include over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit shutdown — the LDO folds back current and latches off until the fault clears, preventing thermal runaway in a harness short.
ROHS3 compliant — no exemptions for lead or phthalates, so it ships into EU and UKCA markets without restriction.
