170V/µs slew rate, 80 MHz GBW — TO-99 can
The OP64EJ is a single-channel general-purpose op-amp in a TO-99-8 metal can, delivering a 170V/µs slew rate and 80 MHz gain-bandwidth product. That slew rate means it can track a 10 V step in under 60 ns — useful for fast pulse amplifiers or high-speed signal conditioning where a standard 741 would round the edges off.
Supply range and output drive
Runs from a 10 V to 36 V total supply span, so it works on ±5 V rails up to ±18 V. Quiescent supply current is 6.2 mA, which is modest for this speed class — a dual-supply ±15 V design burns about 186 mW in the op-amp itself.
Industrial temperature range, TO-99 package
The TO-99 metal can gives better thermal conductivity than a plastic DIP and is hermetic — a plus for humid or mildly corrosive atmospheres. Input offset voltage is 400 µV max, input bias current 200 nA — not an ultra-precision part, but fine for AC-coupled or moderate-gain DC applications where you can trim the offset.
