The OP01HZ: Supply span from 10 V to 40 V single or split rail means it fits into legacy ±15 V analog systems or newer single-supply designs up to 36 V. The 18 nA input bias current is bipolar-input territory — acceptable for source impedances below 100 kΩ, but above that the bias current drop across the source resistance starts to add a DC error term that rivals the offset voltage. Housed in an 8-CERDIP (0.300" wide, 7.62 mm pitch) through-hole package. Bulk packaging means it ships loose in a tube or bag, not tape-and-reel; plan for manual or socketed assembly.
Lifecycle and compliance constraints
RoHS non-compliant — the lead content in the CERDIP package or die-attach exceeds the 1000 ppm threshold. For BOMs that require full RoHS compliance, this part needs an explicit exemption acceptance from the quality team. For RoHS-exempt applications (military, aerospace, certain medical or industrial), it's still a valid sourcing option.
