16-bit RISC core with on-chip LCD drive
The MAXQ2000-RAX is a 16-bit RISC microcontroller from the MAXQ® family, running at 20 MHz. A built-in LCD controller handles segment-drive directly, so a separate display driver IC is unnecessary for character or simple graphic panels. The peripheral set also includes a programmable watchdog timer, power-on reset, and PWM outputs for dimming or motor control. Serial connectivity covers 1-Wire®, SPI, and UART/USART — the 1-Wire interface is useful for temperature sensors or EEPROMs on a single data line, while the SPI port can talk to ADCs or DACs at the core clock rate.
Package, power, and temperature envelope
Housed in a 68-lead VFQFN with an exposed pad (10x10 mm body), the MAXQ2000-RAX is a surface-mount part.
