Supervisor for a single 3.3V rail
The Maxim Integrated MAX706TESA-T is a power-supply monitor IC that asserts a reset signal to a processor or logic when the monitored voltage drops below a 3.08 V threshold. The reset output is active-low, push-pull (totem pole), and holds for a minimum of 140 ms after the supply returns above threshold — long enough for most MCUs and SoCs to complete a clean power-on reset sequence. It monitors a single voltage rail and comes in an 8-SOIC surface-mount package rated for -40°C to 85°C ambient.
140 ms reset timeout — what it buys you
The reset timeout is a minimum of 140 ms. The output holds low after the supply recovers above 3.08 V.
Active production — no LTB clock ticking
The product status is active with no end-of-life notification. It can be designed into a new BOM without scheduling a last-time buy.
Sourcing and fit for the BOM
This is a single-rail supervisor in an 8-SOIC footprint. The push-pull output eliminates the need for an external pull-up resistor.
