Eight-rail sequencer with programmable thresholds
The MAX6892ETJ+ from Analog Devices is an 8-channel power-supply sequencer and supervisor in a 32-TQFN package. It monitors up to eight supply voltages and offers 32 selectable threshold combinations, so you can set each rail's turn-on order and trip point without external resistors. The open-drain, active-low reset output pulls low when any monitored voltage falls below its threshold. This part is built for multi-rail systems — FPGAs, SoCs, ASICs — where the core, I/O, memory, and auxiliary rails must come up in a defined sequence to avoid latch-up or current surges.
Threshold flexibility and sequencing logic
The 32 selectable threshold combinations cover common supply voltages without external dividers. The reset timeout is adjustable or selectable.
The 32-TQFN (5x5 mm) with exposed pad helps thermal transfer to the PCB ground plane. Surface-mount assembly is standard for volume production.
