Precision instrumentation amp for bridge and sensor front-ends
The MAX4208AUA+T is a single-circuit instrumentation amplifier from Analog Devices, specified for precision low-level signal conditioning. Its 3 µV maximum input offset voltage and 1 pA input bias current suit bridge-type sensors, strain gauges, and thermocouple interfaces where the error budget starts at the front end. Gain bandwidth product is 750 kHz with a slew rate of 0.08 V/µs — the bandwidth is adequate for DC to low-frequency measurement channels, not for high-speed data acquisition.
Supply range and quiescent budget
Quiescent current is 1.4 mA typical — low enough for multi-channel multiplexed systems but not micropower; the part stays powered continuously in a measurement chain rather than duty-cycled. Output can source or sink 25 mA per channel, enough to drive a successive-approximation ADC input or a reference buffer without an extra stage.
Available in Tape & Reel (TR) and Cut Tape (CT) options for prototyping or production reels.
ROHS3 compliant per the manufacturer statement, with no exemptions that would restrict EU or UKCA market placement. No pin-compatible second source is recorded — the part is single-sourced to Analog Devices.
