4-channel capacitive isolator, 2750 Vrms barrier
The MAX14932AAWE+ is a 4-channel general-purpose digital isolator from Analog Devices using capacitive coupling technology. It provides 2750 Vrms isolation between the input and output sides, with a unidirectional channel configuration split 2/2 across the isolation barrier. Rated for 1 Mbps data rate, the part suits isolated SPI, UART, and general-purpose signal paths where the throughput stays under that ceiling. The 54.1 ns / 55.3 ns max propagation delay (tpLH / tpHL) and 4.5 ns max pulse-width distortion keep the timing budget predictable for synchronous interfaces. Common-mode transient immunity is specified at 25 kV/µs minimum — enough to reject fast transients from motor drives or switching power supplies without corrupting the output state. The 2 ns typical rise/fall time preserves signal integrity at the rated data rate.
No isolated power supply is integrated; each side requires its own local rail. The 16-SOIC wide-body package (7.50 mm body width) provides the creepage distance needed for the 2750 Vrms isolation rating in a surface-mount footprint.
