The MAX11300GTL+ from Analog Devices PIXI™ series is a 20-channel, 12-bit, 400k samples-per-second ADC/DAC that combines analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion on a single die. This means a single part can handle both sensor digitization and analog output generation, reducing component count in a mixed-signal control loop.

SPI data interface and package considerations
The SPI data interface provides a straightforward 4-wire serial connection to most microcontrollers, keeping PCB trace count low. Operating from both analog and digital supply sources, the part needs separate analog and digital supply decoupling — a 10 µF bulk cap and 0.1 µF ceramic per supply rail, placed close to the package, is the typical starting point.
