Data rate and timing — what 8 MHz means for the SPI bus
The part supports SPI clock rates up to 8 MHz. At 8 MHz the 100 ns propagation delay leaves margin for most bus topologies.
This limits the part to indoor, temperature-controlled environments — office equipment, lab instrumentation, test and measurement, industrial control cabinets with active cooling. Not suited for outdoor telecom cabinets, engine bays, or downhole tools where the ambient exceeds 70°C.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
