1Kbit one-time-programmable memory on the 1-Wire bus
The DS2502R+T&R is a 1Kbit (organized as 128 x 8) EPROM that communicates over a single-wire 1-Wire interface, requiring only a data line and ground for communication with a host microcontroller. The OTP (one-time-programmable) EPROM technology means each memory cell can be written once — the factory state is all zeros, and programming blows a polysilicon link that cannot be reversed. This suits applications where calibration constants, serial numbers, or cryptographic keys must be permanently locked after factory programming.
Supply range, temperature grade, and package footprint
Housed in a 3-lead SOT-23-3 (SC-59) package, the footprint occupies roughly 3 mm x 1.4 mm on the board — the same land pattern as a small-signal SOT-23 transistor.
Active lifecycle and sourcing posture
RoHS3 compliant (2011/65/EU + 2015/863), with no restricted substances above the threshold limits. The Tape & Reel packaging (TR and CT options) is standard for automated pick-and-place assembly.
