Real-time clock with SPI bus and low standby draw
The DS1347T+T&R is an SPI-bus real-time clock/calendar from Analog Devices, tracking time in HH:MM:SS (12/24 hr) and date in YY-MM-DD-dd format with integrated alarm, leap-year compensation, and 56-byte SRAM for scratchpad data. Supply voltage spans 2V to 5.5V, and the timekeeping current draws just 0.7µA to 0.8µA at 2V to 5V — low enough for battery-backed designs where the RTC must run for years on a coin cell without draining the backup supply.

No pin-compatible second-source or successor is documented from the manufacturer; the SPI interface and 8-TDFN footprint are specific to this device, so a BOM change would require a board spin if a replacement is needed later.
