Dual SPDT switch in a 14-pin DIP
The DG303ACJ+ is a dual single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switch from Analog Devices, packaged in a 14-lead DIP (0.300-inch body, 7.62 mm pitch). Each switch connects a common terminal to one of two channel inputs, implementing a 2:1 multiplexer or demultiplexer per section. On-resistance is 50 Ohm maximum, with switching times of 300 ns turn-on and 250 ns turn-off. Charge injection is 12 pC typical, and off-channel leakage is 5 nA maximum — well suited for precision analog signal routing where glitch energy and leakage matter.
Signal integrity and crosstalk
Crosstalk between channels is -74 dB at 500 kHz, a figure that reflects the isolation through the off-switch parasitic capacitance. Off-channel capacitance is 14 pF on both source and drain sides, so the isolation degrades predictably with frequency — at 5 MHz expect roughly -54 dB, still adequate for many audio and low-speed data paths. The dual ±5 V to ±18 V supply range lets the switch handle bipolar signals up to the rail minus the on-resistance drop. With ±15 V rails, the analog signal swing is ±13.5 V typical before clipping.
