Active production — sourcing posture
The ADXL357BEZ-RL: No successor or cross-reference is listed — the BOM line is stable for new and existing designs.
Selectable full-scale range and digital interface
The ADXL357BEZ-RL is a 3-axis digital accelerometer with user-selectable acceleration ranges of ±10g, ±20g, and ±40g. Sensitivity scales with range: 51200 LSB/g at ±10g down to 12800 LSB/g at ±40g. The digital output is available over I²C or SPI, which lets the system architect choose between a two-wire bus for pin-constrained designs or a four-wire SPI for higher data-rate polling.
125°C temperature rating — industrial and downhole fit
This makes it a candidate for engine-bay vibration monitoring, downhole tool orientation, or industrial motor-drive feedback where ambient temperature reaches 125°C. The 14-lead CLCC ceramic package handles the thermal expansion without die-attach fatigue across the full range.
Supply voltage and logic compatibility
The supply voltage is 2.25 V. At 2.25 V the I²C and SPI logic levels are below 3.3 V, so a level shifter is needed when interfacing with a 3.3 V or 5 V MCU. The 2.25 V rail also sets the common-mode input range for the internal ADC — staying within the rated supply avoids clipping the digital output code.
