Propagation delay and transient immunity
Propagation delay is 14 ns max in both directions, with pulse-width distortion held to 2 ns max. That keeps the SPI clock-to-data skew tight enough for 34 Mbps operation without needing to slow the bus. Common-mode transient immunity is rated at 25 kV/µs minimum — a figure that matters when the isolator sits between a noisy inverter stage and a sensitive controller. Rise and fall times are 2.5 ns typical, which is fast enough to avoid edge-rate problems on short PCB traces but may need series termination if the trace runs longer than a few inches.
Active lifecycle — no LTB risk for production
The ADUM3151BRSZ has an Active product status and is ROHS3 compliant. No last-time-buy or end-of-life notice exists. The ADUM4150ARIZ-RL is a 6-channel sibling with 5000 Vrms isolation and 40 Mbps data rate, but with a 4/2 channel split.
Sourcing and fit for the BOM
The ADUM3151BRSZ is sourced through independent distribution and quoted to order against an RFQ. The 3V to 5.5V supply range fits 3.3V or 5V SPI buses. The 7-channel count with a 5/2 input split distinguishes it from the 6-channel ADUM4150.
