It integrates two bidirectional channels (Side 1/Side 2 input count 2/1) to handle the clock and data lines of an I²C link, supporting data rates up to 1Mbps — fast-mode plus capable. The 25kV/µs minimum common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) is the spec that matters in motor-drive or inverter-fed environments — fast switching edges on the high-voltage side won't couple through and corrupt the bus.
