150 Mbps dual-channel isolator with 75 kV/µs CMTI
The ADUM121N0BRZ is a two-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler family, built on magnetic coupling technology. It pushes 150 Mbps per channel with 2.5 ns typical rise/fall times, making it a fit for high-speed serial links like SPI, UART, or isolated CAN transceiver interfaces. The 75 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) is the standout spec here — that's the rating that matters when you're isolating across a noisy motor-drive bus or a switched-mode power supply where fast voltage edges try to punch through the barrier. Propagation delay is a symmetrical 13 ns max, and pulse-width distortion stays under 3 ns, so the duty cycle stays clean at speed.
Supply flexibility and temperature range
The 3000 Vrms isolation rating is basic insulation for 240 VAC line applications; for reinforced insulation you'd need to check the system-level creepage and clearance distances on the PCB.
Package, mounting, and compliance
Housed in an 8-pin SOIC-8 (3.90 mm width) package, surface-mount only. No isolated power on board — this is a pure signal isolator; you'll need a separate isolated DC-DC converter if the secondary side needs its own supply rail. The active lifecycle status means ADI is still manufacturing this code, so no last-time-buy pressure for new designs.
