2500Vrms isolation, 10Mbps — what it covers
The ADUM1200BRZ is a two-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler family, using magnetic coupling to transfer data across a 2500Vrms isolation barrier. It handles 10Mbps per channel with 50ns propagation delay and 3ns pulse-width distortion, making it a fit for isolating SPI, UART, or general-purpose GPIO signals between ground domains. Common-mode transient immunity is 25kV/µs minimum. Both channels are forward-direction only (2/0 input count).
Industrial temperature and package
The 8-SOIC package (3.90mm width) is a standard footprint; the surface-mount body reflows with a typical MSL 1 profile — no special bake required unless the reel has been open past the floor-life window.
For new designs, the standard iCoupler portfolio remains the primary source; the ADUM1200WTRZ (automotive grade, -40°C to 125°C) is a pin-compatible sibling if extended temperature or AEC-Q100 qualification is needed.
