Single-channel iCoupler with 150 Mbps throughput
The ADUM110N1BRZ is a single-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler® family, built on magnetic coupling technology. It delivers a 150 Mbps data rate with 3000 Vrms isolation in an 8-SOIC package, covering the isolation barrier for a single signal line in industrial, motor-drive, and power-conversion systems where galvanic isolation is required between logic domains.
Supply flexibility and signal integrity across the barrier
Propagation delay is 13 ns max in both directions, and pulse-width distortion stays under 3 ns — tight enough for SPI and UART isolation at the rated speed. The 2.5 ns typical rise and fall times keep the signal edges clean for the 150 Mbps link budget. Common-mode transient immunity is specified at 75 kV/µs minimum, which matters when the isolator sits across a switching node in a motor drive or inverter where fast voltage transients couple across the barrier. The 3000 Vrms isolation rating covers basic insulation for industrial equipment with transient overvoltages up to the IEC 60950-1 reinforced insulation level for mains-connected gear.
