Package and mounting
The ADN4650BRWZ-RL7 is a 2-channel unidirectional LVDS isolator from the iCoupler® family, using magnetic coupling to pass a 600 Mbps data stream across a 5000 Vrms isolation barrier. It is built for the kind of high-speed serial link where a standard optocoupler or capacitive isolator would blur the edges — think gigabit Ethernet PHY-to-controller, camera serial interface (CSI-2), or ADC-to-FPGA lanes that need clean eye diagrams at 600 Mbps. The 0.35 ns rise/fall time and 4.5 ns propagation delay keep the timing budget tight, and the 25 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity means it won't glitch when a motor drive or inverter dumps a fast common-mode spike across the barrier. The supply range is 2.375 V to 2.625 V, so it runs off a 2.5 V rail — common in LVDS systems — without needing a separate regulator.
Which channel count do you need?
The ADN4650BRWZ-RL7 has 2 inputs on Side 1 and 0 on Side 2 — both channels run from the primary side to the secondary side. If your link needs bidirectional data (one channel each way), the ADN4652BRWZ-RL7 uses the same 20-SOIC wide-body package and 5000 Vrms isolation but with 1 input on Side 1 and 1 input on Side 2. The ADN4650BRSZ-RL7 drops the isolation to 3750 Vrms in a smaller 20-SOIC narrow-body package, useful when the board has less creepage clearance available.
Lifecycle and supply reality
