The ADN4620BRSZ is a dual-channel, unidirectional LVDS isolator from the Analog Devices iCoupler series. It uses magnetic coupling to transfer LVDS signals across a 3750Vrms galvanic isolation barrier while maintaining signal integrity up to 2.5 Gbps per channel. The 180 ps rise/fall time and 2.8 ns propagation delay keep the eye open and the timing budget intact for high-speed serial links like Gigabit Ethernet, JESD204B, or camera serial interfaces. The part operates from a dual supply: a 1.7V to 1.9V rail on the LVDS side and a 3.0V to 3.6V rail on the logic side, which maps cleanly onto 1.8V FPGA banks and 3.3V system logic.
Isolation and transient immunity — 35 kV/µs CMTI matters
The 3750Vrms isolation rating covers reinforced insulation for many industrial and medical applications. The 35 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity means the part rejects fast voltage transients between the two sides of the barrier. The 2/0 input configuration is a pure downstream isolator — data flows one way, no reverse channel.
Temperature grade and package fit
No isolated power converter is integrated — you supply the isolated rails externally.
