What this isolated RS485 transceiver does on the bus
The Analog Devices ADM2483BRWZ-REEL is a magnetic-coupled isolated RS422/RS485 transceiver from the iCoupler® series. It handles bidirectional data at 500kbps across a 2500Vrms isolation barrier, with 25kV/µs common-mode transient immunity — enough to keep the bus alive through motor-drive switching noise or inverter hash.
