Quad UV/OV monitor with a wide supply window
The ADM1293-1BARUZ from Analog Devices is a quad under-voltage/over-voltage monitor in a 14-TSSOP package. It monitors up to four independent voltage rails and asserts a common open-drain output when any input falls outside its programmed threshold window. The wide supply range of 2.95 V to 20 V lets it run directly from an unregulated intermediate bus or a battery stack without a separate regulator, simplifying the power-tree BOM.
Industrial temperature grade and what it means for the BOM
Rated for -40°C to 105°C, this part fits industrial control cabinets, outdoor telecom enclosures, and base-station power supplies where the ambient can climb well above 85°C. The 3.6 mA supply current is low enough to leave on continuously in a always-monitored system, so you don't need a separate enable switch or a higher-current supervisor that would eat into the thermal budget.
Package and footprint
Housed in a 14-TSSOP with 0.173" body width and 4.40 mm nominal width, it uses a standard fine-pitch footprint that routes easily on a two-layer board. The tube shipment is typical for engineering samples and small-run production; for volume, the tape-and-reel variant (ADM1293-1BARUZ-RL7) shares the same die and electrical specs.
Lifecycle and sourcing
ADI lists this part as Active with ROHS3 compliance.
