The ADIS16470AMLZ is a 6-axis inertial measurement unit combining a triaxial accelerometer and triaxial gyroscope in a single surface-mount package, communicating over SPI. Rated for 40 g accelerometer and 2000 dps gyro dynamic range, this part targets platform stabilization, navigation, and industrial motion control where high-rate angular and linear measurements are needed.
Operating temperature spans -25°C to 85°C, which covers most indoor industrial and commercial applications but does not reach the -40°C low end or 105°C high end of the ADIS16507-2BMLZ sibling. For outdoor telecom shelters, factory floors, or engine-bay deployments that see sustained cold or heat, the wider-range ADIS16507-2BMLZ (-40°C to 105°C) is the better fit.
