The AD9235BRUZRL7-40 is a 12-bit pipelined ADC sampling at 40 MSPS — the Nyquist input bandwidth is 20 MHz, so it captures the full fundamental of a 10 MHz signal with margin for the third harmonic. The pipelined architecture means the conversion runs continuously without a dead cycle between samples, which matters for undersampling IF signals in a receiver chain where every clock edge carries a valid output word.
Supply rails and input flexibility
The single-ended or differential input option means you can drive it directly from a transformer-coupled IF stage or from a single-ended baseband amplifier; the internal reference can be overridden with an external precision reference if the application demands tighter drift than the on-chip bandgap delivers.
The tape-and-reel option (TR) suits high-volume pick-and-place; the cut-tape option (CT) works for prototypes or short-run builds.
