Quad JFET op-amp with 20V/µs slew rate for fast signal chains
The AD8513ARUZ: The J-FET input stage delivers a 25 pA typical input bias current, which keeps DC errors low when the front-end sees high source impedances — think photodiode transimpedance or piezoelectric sensor conditioning where bias current otherwise dominates the output offset. A 20V/µs slew rate and 8 MHz gain-bandwidth product mean this part handles fast edges without slewing into distortion. For a ±5 V output swing at 1 MHz, the required slew rate is about 31 V/µs — so the 20 V/µs figure limits full-power bandwidth to just under 640 kHz. Below that frequency, the signal fidelity holds up well for precision analog processing. Each of the four amplifiers draws 2.2 mA from the supply, totalling 8.8 mA for the package. Output current is rated 70 mA per channel, enough to drive a 600 Ω load to ±10 V or to feed an ADC input buffer without an extra line driver.
Industrial temperature grade and package fit
The 14-TSSOP body measures 4.40 mm wide with a 0.65 mm lead pitch — a standard footprint that places cleanly on a two-layer board without micro-vias. Plan for tube-to-tape conversion if your pick-and-place line feeds from reels. ROHS3 compliant per, with no added antimony or brominated flame retardants in the mould compound.
