JFET input stage — what it means for your front-end
The AD8510BRZ-REEL7 is a single JFET-input operational amplifier from Analog Devices. Its 25 pA input bias current and 80 µV input offset voltage make it a natural fit for high-impedance sensor interfaces — photodiode amplifiers, pH probes, piezoelectric transducers — where the op-amp's own input current would otherwise swamp the signal. The 8 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 20 V/µs slew rate give it enough speed for precision ADC drivers or active filters up to a few hundred kilohertz without sacrificing DC accuracy.
Supply flexibility and temperature grade
Rated for a supply span from 9 V to 36 V, this part works on single or split supplies without a dedicated regulator. The -40°C to 125°C operating range covers industrial enclosures, outdoor telecom cabinets, and under-hood automotive electronics. Quiescent current sits at 2.2 mA per amplifier.
Output drive and package
Each output can source or sink 70 mA. The 8-SOIC package (3.90 mm width) is a standard footprint that fits most PCB layouts without a respin. Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) and also available as Cut Tape (CT) for prototype quantities.
Lifecycle and compliance
ADI lists the AD8510BRZ-REEL7 as Active — no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy window to track. It is ROHS3 compliant, so it passes the material declaration for EU and most global markets without an exemption. For dual-sourcing or a pin-compatible drop-in, the AD8510ARZ-REEL7 shares the same 8-SOIC footprint, 8 MHz GBW, and 20 V/µs slew rate; the main difference is a higher input offset voltage spec (100 µV vs 80 µV). If the offset budget is tight, stick with the BRZ grade.
Sourcing this part
This is a current-production part, sourced through independent distribution. Availability and pricing are confirmed at quote time against an RFQ. No minimum order quantity is imposed — single-reel or partial-reel quantities can be quoted.
