Eight-channel simultaneous-sampling sigma-delta
The AD7770ACPZ-RL is an 8-channel, 24-bit sigma-delta ADC with simultaneous sampling at 32 kSPS per channel — each of the eight converters runs its own modulator, so all channels capture the same instant without a sample-and-hold skew. That matters for polyphase power analysis or multi-axis vibration where phase alignment between channels is the measurement, not a correction factor. The front-end includes a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) per channel and accepts both differential and single-ended inputs. Reference can be internal or external, giving the designer control over the full-scale range independent of the supply rails.

The SPI data interface keeps the digital side simple — no parallel bus routing, just four wires to the host controller.
